Hi, I'm Grace Deraney — a graphic designer fueled by creative challenges and a love for bringing events to life. I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from UMass Lowell in 2023, where I was designing marketing assets for student events and discovered my love for design that moves people. Now, as Integrated Designer on the Advancement Events team at Northeastern University, I bring that same energy to a full calendar of experiences — from intimate HR gatherings to large-scale campaign events — making sure every event, big or small, looks exactly as good as it feels.

My work spans print, digital, and large-scale environmental design — and what drives me across all of it is the challenge of building something cohesive from the ground up. I care just as much about the smallest typographic detail as I do about the big campaign concept, because I believe the best design lives in both. Fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite and energized by collaboration, I do my best work in fast-paced environments where creativity and strategy have to meet in the middle.

Design has always been more than a career for me — it's the way I think, problem-solve, and connect ideas to people. Whether I'm working on a large-scale environmental installation or a single printed piece, I bring the same curiosity and care to everything I create.
